Position Summary
Join the team behind the energy of Chinook Winds Casino Resort! As a Food & Beverage Busser, you'll play an essential role in creating memorable guest experiences by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment in our fast-paced, high-energy restaurants. You'll support restaurant operations by clearing and resetting tables, delivering beverages, stocking service areas, and assisting the restaurant team to ensure guests receive prompt, attentive service, including supporting room service at the hotel. Essential Functions
- Deliver exceptional, high-energy guest service by creating a welcoming, engaging, and memorable experience for every guest.
- Clear tables promptly by removing dishes, glassware, utensils, and other service items according to outlet procedures while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency during high-volume business periods.
- Clean, sanitize, and reset dining tables, chairs, and surrounding areas according to established restaurant standards to ensure tables are always guest ready.
- Maintain constant awareness of dining room activity to proactively clear, reset, and prepare tables while supporting efficient table turnover.
- Delivers water, beverages, and other guest requests promptly while supporting servers and enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Runs dish carts to dish bay area and brings out replacement carts, per outlet procedures.
- Continuously stock and organize dishware, glassware, utensils, condiments, beverages, service supplies, and other restaurant materials throughout each shift.
- Refill condiment stations, napkin dispensers, beverage stations, and other guest service areas to maintain cleanliness and availability.
- Escorts guests to tables and assist with seating as business demands require.
- Inspect dining rooms, service stations, and guest areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Performs all opening, closing, cleaning, and stocking, and side work responsibilities to support efficient restaurant operations.
- Work collaboratively with hosts, servers, cashiers, bartenders, cooks, and other team members to provide seamless guest service during high-volume operations.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort guest service standards and all applicable policies and procedures.
- Maintains general knowledge of menus, beverages, promotions, casino events, entertainment, and resort amenities to confidently answer guest questions and enhance their overall experience.
- Contribute ideas to improve service, operational efficiency, and the overall guest experience.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Hotel Specific (must be 18+)
- Support room service operations as business needs require.
- Take food orders and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment to the rooms while following established service standards.
- Accurately calculate guest totals, make change, balance cash drawers, and prepare end-of-shift cash receipts while maintaining accountability for assigned funds.

Experience
- One year of experience as busser in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or casino preferred.
- Previous high-volume restaurant or hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
Computer Skills
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred.
Certificates & Licenses
- Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
- Must obtain OLCC Alcohol Service permit (18+)
- Must have Oregon Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of start date.
- Must obtain VIP (Visibly Intoxicated Person) Permit within 45 days of start date.

Work will take place in a lively, fast-paced gaming environment with multiple distractions where guest interaction is constant and service volumes are high. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud with frequent movement. The environment is subject to smoke and the associated effects.
Working Conditions
Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
