About Behavioral Beginnings

Behavioral Beginnings, Inc. is a BCBA-owned and operated organization dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and early intervention services to children and families.

As a clinician-led organization, we understand the importance of supporting the professionals who deliver care. We value work-life balance, manageable caseloads, collaborative teamwork, and meaningful professional development. We believe that when our team members feel supported, they are better equipped to provide exceptional services and make a lasting difference in the lives of the families we serve.

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team in Oceanside and surrounding North County communities.

In this role, you will work directly with children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and other developmental or behavioral support needs. You will implement individualized treatment programs designed to promote communication, social skills, independence, and meaningful improvements in daily living.

Services may take place in clients' homes, schools, and community settings, using evidence-based ABA strategies, including naturalistic and play-based teaching approaches.

Whether you are an experienced RBT or someone with a background working with children who is interested in pursuing a career in ABA, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a qualified behavior analyst.

  • Provide direct, one-on-one ABA services to children in home, school, and community settings.

  • Utilize evidence-based ABA techniques, including naturalistic teaching, positive reinforcement, and developmentally appropriate learning activities.

  • Support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.

  • Accurately collect and document behavioral data, treatment progress, and session notes.

  • Collaborate with supervising clinicians, caregivers, and other team members to support treatment goals.

  • Maintain professional and ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA and applicable confidentiality requirements.

  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.

  • Promote a safe, respectful, supportive, and engaging learning environment for every client.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or completion of the 40-hour RBT training.

  • Previous experience providing ABA therapy or behavioral intervention services.

  • Experience working with children in educational, childcare, early intervention, special education, or related settings.

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, child development, behavioral sciences, or a related field.

Additional Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in working with children and supporting their developmental progress.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team.

  • Willingness to learn and implement individualized behavioral interventions.

  • Ability to travel to assigned client locations throughout Oceanside and surrounding North County communities.

  • Ability to meet applicable background screening and employment requirements.

  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, ethical practices, and compassionate care.
