Job Description
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting efficient material flow within a digital and screen-print textile production environment. This role ensures the availability of garments, inks, chemicals, and production supplies to prevent delays and maintain operational efficiency. The Inventory Control Technician plays a key role in inventory accuracy, organization, and cross-functional coordination with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of blank garments, inks, chemicals, and production supplies
- Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Track inventory transactions and update inventory management systems in a timely manner
- Assist with inventory replenishment by identifying low stock levels and coordinating with purchasing
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe inventory storage areas
- Identify damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory and report findings to management
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to handling materials and equipment

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in textile, screen printing, or apparel production environment a plus
- Familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills required
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain preferred
Work Environment:
This position operates across both office and manufacturing/production floor environments. The role includes regular time in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and textile production setting, with exposure to printing equipment, inks, and moving materials. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, as well as inventory and material handling tools. Must maintain compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally move heavier items with appropriate equipment
