This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-grade Jira and Jira Service Management solutions across their full lifecycle.
You will design, configure, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support Jira/JSM platforms in complex IT environments.
The position combines deep Atlassian expertise with API integration, automation, ITSM processes, and technical problem-solving.
You will connect Jira/JSM with enterprise applications such as Oracle HR systems, Microsoft Teams, and other business platforms.
The role also involves shaping scalable workflows, service portals, automation, integrations, and secure data synchronization.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and IT functions to translate requirements into effective solutions.

• Configure, customize, develop, and support Jira Software and Jira Service Management solutions in an enterprise environment.

• Design and implement Jira/JSM workflows, screens, fields, schemes, permissions, roles, notifications, and automation rules.

• Configure JSM request types, customer portals, queues, SLAs, approvals, and ITSM processes.

• Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable Jira/JSM solutions.

• Develop and maintain REST API, webhook, and enterprise-system integrations.

• Implement inbound, outbound, and bidirectional data synchronization between Jira/JSM and external systems.

• Work with Atlassian Marketplace applications, including Getint or comparable integration solutions.

• Support integrations with Oracle HRMS/Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Teams, and other enterprise applications.

• Develop and maintain automation using Jira Automation, ScriptRunner/Groovy, APIs, and webhooks.

• Troubleshoot Jira, JSM, workflow, automation, and integration issues and conduct detailed root-cause analysis.

• Perform development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production hypercare.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and internal IT teams on projects, enhancements, and platform improvements.

• Prioritize Jira-native capabilities and proven Marketplace solutions before introducing custom development.

• Support production Jira/JSM environments and contribute to incident and problem resolution.

• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, integration specifications, and other platform documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Jira/Jira Service Management experience.

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Jira/JSM implementations, including configuration, customization, development, integration, enhancement, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.

• Advanced knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, permissions, roles, notifications, request types, customer portals, queues, SLAs, and approvals.

• Strong experience with Jira Automation, REST APIs, webhooks, ScriptRunner, and Groovy.

• Experience with Atlassian Marketplace applications, preferably Getint or similar integration tools.

• Knowledge of Jira Assets and CMDB capabilities.

• Experience designing Jira-to-Jira and external-system integrations, including data exchange, synchronization, validation, enrichment, and workflow automation.

• Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes, including Incident, Service Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Level, Asset, and Configuration Management.

• Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, API tokens, RBAC, secure API design, HTTPS/TLS, and secure credential management.

• Experience integrating Jira/JSM with enterprise applications and APIs.

• Knowledge of Atlassian Forge is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Python, Java, or similar programming languages is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical issues.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise customers.

• Atlassian Jira/JSM certifications are an advantage.

• ITIL certification is an advantage.
