Fidelity Manufacturing is part of the Backup Power Generation industry. We design and build backup power packages, including tanks and enclosures, for healthcare, industrial, and technology-driven customers that require uninterrupted power at all times. Position Summary: An inventory clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods within the warehouse, stock room or production floor.
Essential Functions:
- Update inventory management system.
- Regularly conduct physical counts of inventory.
- Verifies quantities and quality of received materials.
- Coordinate with production planning, purchasing, and quality control teams to maintain smooth inventory flow.
- Skill in handling multiple task and prioritizing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all Fidelity team.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient with inventory management systems and computer applications
- Basic math skills for calculations
- Good organization skills and ability to prioritize task

- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
- Repetitive use of hands, arms, and upper body
- Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds (or position-specific limit)
- Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely
- Ability to read and interpret measurements using a ruler or measuring tools
- Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing PPE
- Visual and auditory ability to identify safety hazards and operational issues
Working Conditions
This position is performed in a manufacturing, production, and warehouse environment that may include both indoor and outdoor work areas, some of which are not fully covered. Employees may be exposed to fluctuating temperatures, weather conditions, elevated noise levels, airborne particles, fumes, moving machinery, and hard or uneven walking surfaces. Work may involve proximity to heavy equipment, tools, forklifts, and production machinery. OSHA-compliant safety training, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety procedures are provided and must be followed at all times while in production and warehouse areas.
