Job SummaryGreenawalt Hospitality is seeking dependable and energetic Game Day Concessions Team Members to support food and beverage operations during Auburn University athletic events.
Team members may be assigned to concession stands, grab-and-go markets, beverage stations, cashier positions, food preparation, ID checking, or alcohol service based on operational needs, qualifications, and event assignments. Employees who meet age requirements and complete company training may also have opportunities to work bartending assignments at select events.
Whether you're serving fans at a football game or helping prepare concessions behind the scenes, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesConcessions & Food Service- Prepare and serve food, snacks, and beverages while maintaining company quality standards
- Operate concession stands, portable markets, or beverage stations
- Accurately process guest orders and payments
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout each event
- Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe workstations
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service to every guest
- Answer guest questions and assist with food and beverage selections
- Help create a positive and welcoming game day atmosphere
- Resolve guest concerns professionally while maintaining efficient service
- Assist with event setup, stocking, and breakdown
- Support concession, hospitality, and beverage operations as assigned
- Assist with ID checking and alcohol service when properly trained and assigned
- Adapt to changing staffing needs throughout the event
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members
- Complete all required company onboarding and training
- Obtain ServSafe Alcohol Certification if assigned to alcohol service (company facilitated)
- Follow all Auburn University, venue, food safety, and company policies
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability throughout every shift
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be 21 years of age or older for bartending and alcohol service assignments
- Available to work Auburn University athletic events, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Reliable access to phone, text messaging, and email communications
- Previous concessions, food service, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working sporting events or high-volume environments is a plus
- Cash handling or point-of-sale experience is beneficial
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset
$15.00 per hour, plus tips for eligible positions.
