Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $17 hourly, set in good faith based on the responsibilities of the role, qualifications, and market conditions.
The Client Services Specialist serves as the primary liaison between the Food Services, Procurement and Facilities Management, ensuring effective communication, inventory management, and operational support across multiple departments. This position is responsible for overseeing kitchen and supply inventory, supporting meal service operations, coordinating departmental supply orders, assisting with the Donations Closet, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and compliant environment for clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, food service, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards and industry best practices.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, stocking, and monitoring food and beverage supplies.
- Ensure food and beverage storage areas are fully stocked, organized, and maintained at appropriate temperatures.
- Maintain accurate and consistent temperature logs and other required food safety documentation.
- Monitor and reinforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and meal service procedures.
- Assist with the setup, service, and cleanup of dining areas and meal operations.
- Serve as a liaison between Food Services and Facilities Management to support daily operations and resolve service-related concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing or appropriately escalating client and staff concerns.
- Train Residential Aides on proper meal service procedures and food handling expectations.
- Coordinate and order inventory, supplies, and materials for all departments to maintain operational readiness and adequate stock levels.
- Assist with the management, organization, and distribution of donations through the Donations Closet.
- Coordinate, plan, and order supplies for client activities, events, and engagement programs.
- Support inventory audits, track usage trends, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Credentials- High School Diploma or GED required.
- ServSafe Certification or comparable accredited food safety certification required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a kitchen or food service environment required.
- Experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, residential, or institutional setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic inventory management and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and client-centered environment.
- Non direct care
- Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm
- Holidays, weekends and non traditional hours required as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move up to fifty (50) pounds regularly.
- Ability to work in kitchen, storage, and warehouse environments.
