Position Summary:

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end recruitment of hourly production associates in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This onsite role supports the recruitment team and is accountable for full-cycle recruiting, hiring decisions, and execution of scalable hiring strategies to meet workforce demands.

As part of our continued growth, this position is critical to supporting the expansion of our contingent workforce and the successful ramp-up of a new large-scale operation. Initially based in Streetsboro, OH, the Senior Recruiter will play a key role in building and staffing the workforce needed to support business growth.

This position requires a results-driven recruiting professional who thrives in high-volume environments, excels at building talent pipelines, and can independently drive hiring outcomes while partnering closely with recruiting leadership, site management, and HR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume direct labor positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, and hiring.
  • Make hiring decisions independently in alignment with business needs, workforce planning objectives, and company hiring standards.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to achieve monthly hiring goals and ensure alignment on recruiting priorities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale hiring events, job fairs, open houses, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Support workforce ramp-up efforts by proactively building talent pipelines ahead of staffing needs.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates to support weekly and monthly hiring targets.
  • Conduct high-volume phone screens, virtual interviews, and in-person interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner closely with site leadership and HR to understand workforce demands, shift requirements, and production staffing needs.
  • Implement and optimize recruiting strategies including employee referral programs, walk-in hiring events, local sourcing initiatives, and community partnerships.
  • Utilize job boards, social media platforms, community organizations, and other sourcing channels to attract and engage candidates.
  • Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, attendance rates, offer acceptance rates, and hires per week.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring procedures, and applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase recruiting efficiency, speed, and quality of hire.
  • Support onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through start date.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehousing, or other direct labor environments.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting and hiring at scale in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver results against aggressive hiring goals.
  • Experience planning and executing hiring events, job fairs, and high-volume sourcing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident making independent hiring decisions and taking ownership of recruiting outcomes.
  • Experience supporting onsite startup, expansion, or ramp-up operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of local labor markets and effective sourcing strategies.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and hiring analytics.
