Job Purpose
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day coordination of the Waterwise Demonstration Garden program, a grant-funded, statewide initiative in collaboration with the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Transformative Landscape Change Challenge. Combining program coordination, working with internal crews around project implementation, the Waterwise Project Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for participants and guide projects from recruitment and application processing through site planning, grass removal, plant distribution, and final reporting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized and enjoys working across teams, building relationships with community partners and participants, solving problems, and moving complex projects from planning to completion. Working closely with Resource Central's Lawn Replacement, Garden In A Box®, Engagement, and Marketing teams, you’ll play a key role in transforming approximately 36 public-facing properties across Colorado from high-water-use grass into attractive, waterwise landscapes, with projects taking place in 2027 through early 2028. Through this work, the Waterwise Project Coordinator will help advance our water conservation impact and help inspire similar transformations in surrounding communities.
