$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their growth and development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity.
- Maintain a consistent daily routine, including meals, naps, and playtime, to provide stability for the children.
- Communicate effectively with parents to ensure alignment on childcare practices and address any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children's care, such as meal preparation and tidying play areas.
- Support children's social and emotional development by modeling positive behavior and encouraging interaction with peers and adults.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Strong understanding of infant safety, feeding, sleep routines, and developmental stages
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background screening
- Verifiable, non-family childcare references
- Professional communication and sound judgment
