This role sits at the intersection of client success, strategic account management, and healthcare solutions, focusing on strengthening relationships with health plans and driving measurable business growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance healthcare delivery outcomes. The position combines sales expertise with deep account management responsibilities, including renewals, upselling, and cross-functional coordination. You will lead presentations, manage strategic planning, and ensure seamless service implementation across complex healthcare environments. Working closely with internal teams, you will help resolve client challenges and optimize the overall experience. This is a high-impact, remote role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused healthcare setting.
- Manage and grow assigned health plan client accounts through strategic relationship management, regular engagement, and solution-based selling.
- Lead client presentations, proposals, renewals, and contract discussions while ensuring alignment with client objectives and service offerings.
- Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities through structured account planning and consultative conversations.
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking of opportunities, pipeline activity, and client interactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and strong overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, SMEs, and product stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and service delivery.
- Develop strategic account plans that define client goals, priorities, and long-term growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and healthcare standards such as HIPAA.
- 5+ years of experience in client success, account management, or sales roles within healthcare plans or health insurance environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare plan administration and, ideally, self-funded health plan models.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a high-performance, client-facing role.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across in-person and virtual settings.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of service quality and responsiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills.
