You will work on designing automated, scalable, and secure data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native principles.
The position involves ensuring high availability, observability, and performance of data services while continuously improving platform reliability and usability.
You will collaborate with engineering and business teams to translate analytical and operational needs into robust, reusable technical solutions.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, combining data engineering, cloud automation, and platform ownership.
You will also contribute to technical leadership by defining standards, frameworks, and best practices that scale across teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage and evolve the data platform’s services, ensuring observability, reliability, and flexibility for business needs.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions) for data infrastructure and deployment automation.
  • Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Python and TypeScript within distributed architectures.
  • Ensure monitoring of platform performance, availability, capacity, and usage, proposing improvements when needed.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data solutions aligned with platform architecture.
  • Define frameworks, engineering standards, and best practices to improve team efficiency and delivery quality.
  • Mentor and support engineers, promoting a strong culture of data engineering excellence.
  • Support experimentation, hypothesis validation, and rapid adaptation to changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in DataOps, Data Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices, especially GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for backend and data services development.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architectures.
  • Experience building and maintaining data platforms with high availability and observability requirements.
  • Familiarity with data lakehouse concepts, data modeling, and modern data pipelines (differential).
  • Experience integrating AI agents and working within AI-enabled ecosystems is a plus.
  • Strong architectural thinking and ability to make technical decisions in complex environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills and experience translating business needs into technical solutions.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance coverage.
  • Mental health support, including free psychotherapy sessions and wellness programs.
  • Flexible food allowance (meal and grocery benefits depending on work model).
  • Remote-friendly work model with home office assistance.
  • Wellness benefits including gym and fitness platform access.
  • Employee discounts on products across multiple brands.
  • Childcare, family support programs, and extended parental leave.
  • Education assistance and professional development programs.
  • Life insurance, financial protection, and retirement support options.
  • Birthday day off and additional lifestyle and wellbeing perks.
