Job Description
OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
Under the direction of the North Operations Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Intern is responsible for learning and carrying out general warehouse duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Unload trucks and verify quantities and serial numbers. Inspect items and document for any possible damage.
- Unbox any equipment that needs to be done and inspect to make sure serial numbers align.
- Compact all cardboard and take out trash.
- Clean and organize warehouse.
- Assemble copier equipment in set-up shop.
- Place devices on MOM network to be pre-loaded.
- Assist delivery drivers when/if needed.
- Assist delivery drivers with unloading trucks.
- Pull next day's delivery routes.
- Inventory control.
POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a non-exempt, part-time position.
TRAVEL
This position does not require travel.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs overhead
- Forklift operation (training provided)
- Customer-service oriented
- Positive attitude
- Works well under pressure
- Able to learn new tasks
- Flexible
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
