Job Title: Expeditor
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually
Position Summary
AGSE is seeking a detail-oriented Expeditor to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, products, and information to support efficient operations and on-time delivery. This role works closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Shipping, Suppliers, and Customer Service teams to resolve delays, monitor schedules, and ensure materials and customer orders move through the process without interruption.
This is a fast-paced role suited for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while communicating across departments and with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Order & Material Expediting
• Monitor the status of materials, inventory, and customer orders to ensure timely processing and delivery
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to expedite late or critical shipments
• Prioritize urgent orders and communicate schedule changes to appropriate teams
• Follow up on delayed deliveries and identify potential risks to schedules or customer commitments
2. Inventory & ERP Coordination
• Track open orders, shortages, and backorders and provide status updates as needed
• Maintain accurate records in ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
• Review inventory levels and assist in resolving discrepancies or shortages
3. Shipping & Operational Support
• Work with shipping and receiving teams to ensure materials are processed efficiently
• Support coordination between warehouse, production, and purchasing teams
• Generate reports related to order status, inventory movement, and supplier performance
4. Continuous Improvement & Customer Support
• Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
Requirements:Qualifications
Required
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in expediting, logistics, warehouse operations, purchasing, customer service, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
• Additional education in logistics, supply chain, or business
• Knowledge of supply chain, inventory control, and shipping processes
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal departments

Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000
• Bonus: Up to 10% discretionary

Work Environment
