This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and strategic design leader to shape impactful visual storytelling across integrated marketing and communications campaigns. In this role, you will lead creative direction for high-profile brand initiatives, with a strong emphasis on digital, social, and video-first experiences. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, visually compelling work while mentoring and elevating a growing design function. The position combines hands-on creative execution with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both strategy and craft. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly creative environment, you’ll help bring bold ideas to life across multiple channels and audiences. This remote role requires availability during Eastern Time business hours.
- Lead the development and execution of visually compelling creative concepts across digital, social, video, branding, and campaign assets.
- Establish and guide design best practices, ensuring consistency, innovation, and high-quality creative output across projects and teams.
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, production, and client-facing teams to deliver impactful and cohesive campaign experiences.
- Mentor and support designers by fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the creation of brand guidelines, presentations, social media assets, motion graphics, typography systems, and visual identities.
- Present and articulate design concepts confidently to stakeholders while incorporating feedback into polished final deliverables.
- Stay informed on emerging design trends, social media behaviors, and interactive experiences to continuously evolve creative standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- 5+ years of experience in creative, advertising, communications, marketing, or PR environments, including experience leading design initiatives or teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in digital design, campaign development, social media creative, and video-based storytelling.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint; familiarity with After Effects, Sketch, or similar tools is a plus.
- Deep understanding of social media design trends, digital-first storytelling, and integrated brand communications.
- Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on creative production.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain and defend creative decisions clearly and confidently.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience in automotive, lifestyle, or consumer-facing industries is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Competitive salary range of $95,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
