As part of the PSS team and broader Tech24 network, the Senior Installation Technician plays a critical role in the installation, setup, and commissioning of commercial cooking (hot side) equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring all equipment is installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
The Senior Installer leads and supports installation projects, coordinates with customers and internal teams, and ensures jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving in the field, and delivering a seamless installation experience while representing the company with professionalism.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, set up, and commission commercial cooking equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, and related kitchen systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure proper equipment placement and functionalityEnsure all gas, electrical, and mechanical connections are completed safely and up to codeTest and verify proper operation of newly installed equipment, making adjustments as neededTroubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field to ensure successful project completionRespond to service calls in a timely and professional mannerRepresent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer serviceFollow all safety regulations and company policiesParticipate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
