How you will make an impact:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on equipment throughout our facility in the most efficient and safe manner

• Participate and contribute in Crane Business System (CBS) kaizen events.

• Suggest and implement improvement opportunities on our equipment to make them safer, improve quality and/or reduce costs.

• Undertake installation and commissioning of production and plant equipment when required.

• Repair and overhauling systems or parts thereof.

• Liaise with suppliers on a technical level as and when required.

• Must be willing and able to work shift arrangements and overtime as required.

• Compiling and updating maintenance logs off all interventions and update info in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Training of other engineering staff as required.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• Qualified Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical /Mechatronics Technician preferably with an MCAST-BTec Higher National Diploma / HTD focused on plant and equipment.
• Ideally F gas certified.
• Possess License A&B qualification.
• Have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Be conversant with chilled water air cooled systems, Reverse osmosis and related equipment
• Have good knowledge of micro-processor controllers and Building Management Systems.

• Be skillful at diagnosing and quickly repair a variety of electro-mechanical systems.

Preferred:

• Exhibit a positive attitude and initiative.
• Be an effective team player but also work on his/her own with minimal supervision.
• Must have motivation and interpersonal skills.
