This is a high-ownership, fully remote recruiting role where you will directly shape the growth trajectory of a fast-scaling marketing agency. As the first dedicated recruiter, you will take full responsibility for building and running the hiring engine across multiple business functions, including marketing, sales, creative, and operations. Your work will ensure the organization can scale efficiently by maintaining a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates rather than hiring reactively. You will collaborate closely with leadership and report directly to the founder, giving you significant visibility and influence. The environment is fast-paced, async-friendly, and performance-driven, with a strong emphasis on speed, quality, and autonomy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building structure from scratch and enjoys owning end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and execution.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions including marketing, sales, creative, account management, and operations roles
- Source and engage candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and niche industry communities
- Conduct initial screening interviews and evaluate candidates through structured conversations and written assessments
- Coordinate interview processes, manage candidate communication, and oversee reference checks and offer execution
- Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline to ensure ongoing access to qualified candidates
- Track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and retention performance
- Partner directly with leadership to refine hiring priorities, role definitions, and recruitment strategies
- Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process
- Continuously improve recruiting workflows to support scalable, predictable hiring outcomes
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a marketing agency, SaaS company, or remote-first organization
- Proven ability to fill roles quickly, ideally within 30-day hiring cycles
- Strong sourcing capabilities across multiple platforms and ability to build passive candidate pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort operating in an async-first environment
- Ability to balance high-volume sourcing with thoughtful, high-judgment candidate evaluation
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent roles
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, high-accountability environment
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking recruiting metrics and improving hiring efficiency
