Description:
NOVA is seeking a Data Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, ETL workflows, APIs, and AI-ready cloud data services supporting ITA AI initiatives.
*This position is contingent upon contract award.*
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows and APIs
- Support AI-ready data preparation and governance
- Manage cloud-based data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Support analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives
- Implement scalable and secure data architectures
- Monitor and optimize data workloads and automation
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting enterprise data engineering, analytics platforms, cloud data services, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Years of Experience: 5–8 Years
- Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Public Trust / NACI minimum
- Certification Requirements: Azure Data Engineer Associate preferred
- Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, APIs, Python, Power BI, ETL orchestration, and DevSecOps practices.
Remote work is preferred, with occasional onsite support in Washington, DC, as required.
