Homestead Health Care is hiring Caregivers in our Senior Living Facility in Fort Gratiot, MI

As a caregiver, you have the opportunity to provide physical and emotional support to our residents who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from an illness. Additionally, it allows you to develop valuable skills such as patience, empathy, and communication. Experience passing medications is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with care needs, specifically but not limited to: dressing, grooming, bathing, incontinence care, etc.
• Administering medications and injections, following physicians orders and accurate charting
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping
• Assess for change in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
• Complete all required documents and charting
• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services and coworkers
• Assist other team members with their duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Experience working with the elderly, preferred
• Must be 18 years old
