About the Role

We seek a Project Manager to provide support services to our valued client's data center practice. 3 to 7 years’ construction experience is required. The Project Manager’s main responsibility is to monitor and report on design, bidding, cost and scheduling events with 100% transparency. Escalation of risk is the number one priority. The client should never be removed from the equation. Decisions involving schedule, cost, safety, coordination, and design shall be made by the client and the A/E team. General responsibilities include:

  • Provide transparent and unmanaged communications, escalating risks and issues requiring mitigation and/or resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction, Development and Design Teams prior to mobilization to fully execute the due diligence, design and bidding processes to set each project up for a successful delivery.
  • Manage monthly pay application process and lead monthly project financial reviews and reporting.
  • Lead engagement and planning with Operations team to ensure successful customer handovers, to include co-leading commissioning and closeout phase.
  • Build and maintain synergistic partnerships with our OFCI vendors and General Contractors and manage the coordination of all manufacturing, logistics, storage, deliveries, etc.
  • Manage our Construction Managers’ execution of our Project Disciplines, to include Daily Logs, Photos, Infrastructure Trackers, Safety Audits and Meeting Notes.
  • Manage Contractor Contracts, PO's, and Change Orders.
  • Manage weekly and monthly milestone schedule updates, and develop executive project reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related, or minimum 5 years of construction management or general contractor experience.
  • Frequent, high-quality, transparent information flow and escalation is the highest priority for this role.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial construction design, bidding and execution.
  • Cost management and forecasting knowledge.
  • Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning and the presentation of options and their implications cost, schedule, stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, dive deep into the details, and present findings to senior management.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

The pay range for this role is:
85,000 - 120,000 USD per year(Dallas, TX)
