Job Description

EOR Business Operations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an EOR Business Operations Manager based in Spain.

This is a high-impact operational role at the center of global employment infrastructure, where you will help shape how Employer of Record (EOR) operations are executed across multiple domains, regions, and teams. You will drive cross-functional clarity, improve operational systems, and ensure scalable execution across complex workflows that span compliance, payroll, legal, finance, and customer-facing functions. Acting as a key connector, you will translate data and operational signals into actionable improvements while enabling teams to work more efficiently and consistently. The role is ideal for a systems-minded operator who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving structural problems, and is motivated by building scalable processes in a fast-paced, fully distributed environment. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders while influencing outcomes across multiple functions without direct authority. This is a hands-on role focused on improving how global EOR operations run end-to-end.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and deliver cross-functional operational initiatives across EOR domains, from early problem definition through execution, adoption, and impact measurement.
  • Identify systemic gaps in EOR operations and coordinate improvements with accountable owners across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success.
  • Design and improve operating mechanisms including intake, routing, escalation paths, handoffs, and documentation standards to reduce inefficiencies and operational friction.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by maintaining visibility on dependencies, priorities, risks, and decision-making across multiple operational streams.
  • Own and enhance recurring operational reporting, translating data from tools such as dashboards and ticketing systems into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support compliance and audit-related initiatives, ensuring proper documentation, evidence collection, and remediation tracking across cross-functional efforts.
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled and automation opportunities to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability of EOR operational processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives spanning multiple EOR service lines and geographies.
Requirements:
  • 3–7+ years of experience in business operations, program management, operational excellence, or a similar cross-functional role in a global or high-growth environment.
  • Strong ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from ambiguity to structured execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven experience improving operational systems, workflows, or processes in environments with cross-functional dependencies.
  • Comfortable working with operational data and tools (e.g., dashboards, spreadsheets, support or CRM systems) to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Strong written communication skills with a default to clear, structured, asynchronous collaboration in distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and align stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • High ownership mindset (“manager of one”) with strong execution discipline and follow-through.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, workflow design, or decision-making is a strong plus.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with EOR, payroll, HR operations, or global employment platforms.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote-first working model with flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe and beyond.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with global market benchmarks and experience level.
  • Flexible working hours designed for asynchronous collaboration and work-life balance.
  • Annual learning and development budget to support professional growth and skill-building.
  • Home office and equipment allowance to support your ideal work setup.
  • Strong emphasis on autonomy, ownership, and impact in a fast-scaling global organization.
  • Opportunity to shape and improve global EOR operational systems at scale.
  • Inclusive and international work environment with cross-functional exposure across multiple domains.
