EMT International is a global leader in innovative OEM finishing equipment for the digital printing industry. We are looking for a Field Service Technician who enjoys solving technical challenges, traveling, and working directly with customers to install and support industry-leading equipment.
In this role, you'll be the face of EMT International, providing expert technical service and building lasting customer relationships. Every day is different—you'll travel to customer facilities, install new equipment, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, train operators, and help customers maximize the performance of their investment.

What You'll DoInstall, Service & Support OEM Finishing Equipment- Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair EMT International OEM finishing equipment at customer facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and system performance evaluations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation, best practices, and preventative maintenance.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote access.
- Resolve customer issues quickly while delivering an outstanding service experience.
- Identify recurring issues and communicate recommendations that improve product performance and reliability.
- Assist with machine assembly, testing, and factory acceptance activities prior to shipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous product improvements.
- Complete detailed service reports, repair documentation, and service history records.
- Document redlines and communicate field modifications after project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of parts used, repairs completed, and warranty-related information.
- Experience installing, servicing, or maintaining industrial machinery or automated equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work safely in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
This position requires up to 80% domestic travel, often on short notice, with opportunities for international travel. You'll work with customers throughout North America and occasionally abroad, making a direct impact by keeping their operations running efficiently.
