This is a high-impact sales leadership role focused on scaling a technical, consultative SaaS sales motion across two distinct product lines, with primary emphasis on an embedded content creation platform used by enterprise software companies. The role blends hands-on deal execution with team leadership, requiring someone who is equally comfortable closing complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities as they are coaching others to do the same. You will help shape and operationalize a repeatable revenue engine by improving sales processes, refining qualification standards, and strengthening deal execution quality. The environment is highly collaborative and data-driven, with close alignment between Sales, Product, and Marketing. This is not a purely managerial role, but a hybrid leadership position where active selling remains central to success. The role is fully remote and designed for a leader who thrives in fast-moving, technical SaaS environments.
- Lead and actively support strategic sales opportunities, particularly for technical SaaS/SDK deals involving product, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
- Coach and develop sales team members through live deal support, improving discovery, qualification, demo execution, and closing strategies.
- Build, refine, and operationalize sales playbooks, including talk tracks, qualification frameworks, demo flows, and follow-up standards.
- Strengthen pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal inspection processes through a structured yet lightweight operating rhythm.
- Partner closely with Product and Marketing to align messaging, improve sales narratives, and ensure effective handoff of high-intent leads.
- Use CRM insights, win/loss data, and pipeline analytics to identify performance gaps and optimize sales execution.
- Drive consistency in sales execution by defining clear standards of excellence and reinforcing them through coaching and enablement.
- Maintain direct involvement in key deals to ensure high-quality execution and to continuously refine the sales motion.
- Proven background as a high-performing SaaS sales leader with continued hands-on experience closing complex deals.
- Demonstrated success in technical, developer-led, or product-led growth (PLG) sales environments.
- Experience selling into technical buyers, ideally within martech, developer tools, or embedded software ecosystems.
- Strong ability to analyze CRM data, funnel metrics, and pipeline performance to drive decision-making.
- Track record of coaching and developing sales teams through live deal engagement, not just process oversight.
- Strong communication skills across executive conversations, product demos, webinars, and customer engagements.
- Deep understanding of PLG motions and ability to collaborate across Product and Marketing to support sales-assisted growth.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, remote environments with high levels of ownership and accountability.
- Curiosity for technical product use cases, including APIs, embedded systems, and modern SaaS architectures.
- Competitive compensation package including base salary of $165,000–$185,000 plus $75,000 OTE bonus, with total OTE of $240,000–$260,000.
