This Data & AI Specialist (Cloud Solution Architect) role is a senior technical advisory position focused on enabling large-scale data modernization and AI-driven transformation for enterprise customers.
You will act as a trusted architecture partner, guiding organizations through complex migrations of SQL Server workloads to modern Linux and cloud-based environments.
The role combines deep technical expertise in databases, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled data platforms with strong customer-facing advisory responsibilities.
You will design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures across hybrid and cloud ecosystems, ensuring successful migration outcomes.
A key part of your work will involve translating business requirements into robust technical solutions while driving modernization and optimization initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, cloud, and customer teams to ensure smooth execution of migration strategies.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, guiding SQL Server migration strategies from Windows to Linux and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Lead end-to-end migration architecture design, including discovery, assessment, workload analysis, and execution planning.
• Define and validate migration approaches such as rehost, re-platform, and modernization aligned with customer objectives.
• Design scalable SQL on Linux solutions across Azure and hybrid environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
• Provide architectural guidance on Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Arc, identity, networking, and cost optimization strategies.
• Develop migration plans including cutover strategies, rollback mechanisms, and success criteria definition.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DBA, and application teams to ensure successful delivery of migration programs.
• Drive automation and modernization using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting tools such as Bash and PowerShell.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement, cloud adoption, and long-term platform modernization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Architect, Cloud Architect, or Migration Lead.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (2019/2022), especially on Linux environments.
• Solid Linux administration experience and understanding of enterprise system operations.
• Experience designing and executing large-scale database migration or modernization projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep is highly desirable.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Microsoft Azure and SQL Server certifications are preferred; Linux certifications (e.g., RHCSA/RHCE) are a plus.
