  • Design decision solutions: Analyze business requirements, assess potential impacts, and translate business policies into effective automated decision-making solutions.

  • Integrate enterprise systems: Connect FICO decision engines with REST APIs, microservices, and corporate applications, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous integrations.

  • Support testing and validation: Participate in functional testing, solution validation, and acceptance activities to ensure decision logic meets business and technical requirements.

  • Maintain production stability: Investigate incidents, troubleshoot decision engine processing, analyze performance issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliable operation.

  • Ensure governance and traceability: Maintain rule versioning, documentation, auditability, and governance standards for decision processes, particularly in regulated environments.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders: Support business teams in defining, reviewing, and optimizing decision policies related to credit, risk, fraud prevention, collections, eligibility, and customer onboarding.

  • Leverage data engineering capabilities: Work with SQL, Python, PySpark, and Databricks to support data processing, modeling, and integration requirements.

  • Document and share knowledge: Maintain technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams to support long-term maintainability and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • FICO platform experience: Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining decision engines using FICO solutions, ideally including FICO Blaze Advisor, FICO Decision Modeler (DM), FICO Decision Management Platform (DMPS), and Rule Maintenance Application (RMA).

  • Decision logic development: Strong knowledge of business rules, decision tables, decision trees, ruleflows, workspaces, deployments, rule versioning, and governance practices.

  • Relevant industry background: Experience in financial services, payment processing, or other high-volume transactional environments, with exposure to credit, customer onboarding, fraud prevention, collections, risk, or product eligibility projects.

  • Data and programming skills: Advanced SQL proficiency, practical experience with Python and PySpark, knowledge of data modeling, and familiarity with Databricks.

  • Integration technologies: Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, microservices, messaging systems, and synchronous and asynchronous integrations.

  • Cloud and DevOps knowledge: Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure, as well as Git, DevOps pipelines, monitoring, and observability concepts.

  • Analytical and troubleshooting abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate processing issues, evaluate solution impacts, and improve decision engine performance.

  • Governance and documentation: Understanding of traceability, audit requirements, and controlled development practices, with experience in regulated environments considered an advantage.

  • Additional desirable expertise: Knowledge of credit decision strategies, scorecards, policy engines, machine learning model integration with FICO, MongoDB, and credit bureau integrations such as Serasa, Boa Vista, Quod, or TransUnion.

  • Communication and collaboration: Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams, document complex solutions clearly, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Benefits:
  • Health coverage: Health and dental insurance plans.

  • Food allowances: Meal and food vouchers.

  • Family support: Childcare assistance and extended parental leave.
