Job Description
Gan Mah Tov Preschool is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Hebrew-speaking teacher to join our growing program. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Gan Mah Tov (meaning “Garden of Good”) is a Jewish, community-centered preschool where relationships, Hebrew language, and Jewish values are woven naturally into daily life.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 12 ECE units
• At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood setting
• Fluency in Hebrew
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Knowledge of child development and play-based learning

Additional strengths include:
• Knowledge of best practices in second language acquisition
• Familiarity with Jewish history, values, holidays, customs, and traditions
• Comfort with Hebrew language immersion in early childhood settings
• Experience organizing and managing a responsive, child-centered classroom
• Ability to partner with parents as active participants in their child’s development
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a small, close-knit community
Responsibilities include:
• Creating a nurturing, play-based classroom environment
• Supporting children’s social-emotional development
• Partnering with parents to support each child’s growth
• Incorporating Hebrew language and Jewish values into daily activities
• Collaborating with teaching staff and administration
