Full Time
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for organizing, directing, and overseeing all nursing operations within the facility. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. The Director of Nursing will foster a collaborative environment where staff are supported and empowered to provide exceptional care to residents.
Director of Nursing (RN) duties include but are not limited to:- Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel including Registered Nurses, LPNs, and CNAs
- Guide and manage staffing procedures to ensure adequate nursing coverage
- Set goals and long-term objectives for the nursing department
- Organize and coordinate admissions, nursing services, and patient care procedures
- Develop and enforce policies to ensure legal compliance and high-quality care standards
- Manage department budgets and monitor expenditure
- Identify, address, and resolve operational issues or deficiencies
- Oversee documentation and medical record-keeping procedures
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to improve operations
- Report departmental updates, performance, and outcomes to upper management
- Lead and develop nursing staff to promote professional growth and quality patient care

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Valid CPR certification required
