Job Description

Now hiring experienced Machine Operators to work for a Cable-Manufacturing facility in Milton, FL. The Machine Operators work in various departments: Screening/Stranding; Jacketing; Take-Up; & WTEC (Wire Technician). All eligible candidates MUST have the willingness to learn the company's process. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required, but it does not have to be on this specific machinery. Any experience with wire drawing and/or spool reels is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate the various machinery that is used in our cable manufacturing facility.
  • Read/interpret/understand blueprints and/or drawings (including symbols, material type, and material shape).
  • Setting up the screening and/or stranding machines independently from a selection of tooling options: set-up, pay-off, take-up; setting running parameters; consistently monitor the QUALITY of product.
  • Familiar with using/operating electronic screens for controlling the screening or stranding process (Human Machine Interface).
  • Good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
  • Must maintain a consistent log of production AND quality per company systems & standards.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety procedures and policies.


EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 1 year as a manufacturing Machine Operator (or as a CNC Operator) is preferred but NOT required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/machining environment is preferred but NOT required.


EDUCATION:
High school Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but NOT required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must have Steel-toed boots.
  • Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
  • Must complete a pre-employment (level-1) background check.

PAY:
Position starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. ---Depending on level of Experience
(with the opportunity to increase over-time)


SCHEDULE:
Full-Time
Currently Hiring for BOTH Day & Night Shift --- All shifts are 12-hr's
Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm
Night Shift = 7:30pm - 7:30am

***Expect to work at least 60 hours per week***
(ALL hours worked over 40-hrs will be paid at "Time-and-a-Half")
