Vice President, Global Sales

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving global public sector sales strategy and execution across multiple regions, with a strong focus on expanding impact in the Public Financial Management (PFM) space. You will lead a distributed, high-performing international sales organization, shaping go-to-market strategy and ensuring consistent revenue growth and profitability. The role requires close collaboration with senior government stakeholders, partners, and internal leadership teams to position complex advisory and software solutions. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening long-term client relationships while expanding market presence in new geographies. Operating in a fast-paced, global environment, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver measurable business outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale public sector transformation initiatives worldwide.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for leading global sales execution, developing strategic direction, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious revenue targets across public sector markets. You will guide and grow a geographically distributed sales organization while overseeing complex deal cycles from pipeline development through to contract closure. You will also ensure strong customer engagement and solution positioning aligned with government priorities and institutional needs.

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a global sales team to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives
  • Design and implement global sales strategies focused on public sector and PFM solutions
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles including proposals, tenders, negotiations, and closures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government stakeholders, partners, and clients
  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and performance reporting using CRM tools
  • Represent the organization at global conferences, trade shows, and strategic client meetings
Requirements

You bring extensive international sales leadership experience, particularly within the public sector or complex enterprise environments. You have a strong ability to engage with senior government officials, influence decision-making, and translate strategic objectives into actionable sales plans. Your background combines commercial acumen with leadership capability, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.

  • 10+ years of experience in international sales, with a strong focus on public sector solutions or advisory services
  • Proven track record in leading global sales teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets
  • Strong experience managing complex sales cycles, including government procurement and large-scale tenders
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders and government officials
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and sales performance metrics
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities
  • University degree in Computer Science, IT, Economics, Commerce, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
