Accounts Receivable Manager in Rapid City, South Dakota at Omnia Exterior Solutions LLC

Omnia Exterior Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our growing Finance team. This role is responsible for leading billing, collections, payment processing, and receivables management across multiple operating companies. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to improve cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables, and support operational excellence.

This position partners closely with Sales, Production, Project Management, and Finance leadership to ensure timely invoicing, accurate payment processing, and effective collections strategies while maintaining a positive customer experience.

• Lead accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, payment processing, and account reconciliation
• Monitor aging reports and proactively manage past-due balances
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collections performance and reduce bad debt
• Review contracts, change orders, and billing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support commercial billing processes, including progress billing, retainage tracking, and payment applications
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and production teams to resolve billing issues and facilitate payment collection
• Generate AR reporting and provide insights to leadership regarding trends, risks, and opportunities
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial audits
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help drive efficiencies across the AR function

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections experience
• Strong understanding of customer payment methods, collections strategies, and dispute resolution
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with construction, roofing, home services, or insurance-related billing is a plus
• Experience with liens, legal collections processes, or commercial contract billing is preferred
