  • Enforce a safe working environment in strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and New York State DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of technician certifications (I-CAR, ASE, OEM).

4. Customer & Insurance Relations

  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with insurance adjusters and Direct Repair Program (DRP) representatives.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries or complaints with empathy and professionalism to maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Body Shop Manager or Assistant Manager, preferably within a dealership environment.
  • Certifications: I-CAR Gold Class tracking or Platinum recognition highly preferred; ASE certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with collision estimating software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex) and Dealership Management Systems (DMS) like Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of NYS Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) repair shop regulations and consumer rights laws.
  • License: Must hold a valid New York State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

    • 401(k) retirement plan

    • Dealership discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service
