Position Summary:

The associate athletic trainer will provide coverage of Men's Basketball/Men's Golf. In addition, the successful candidates will assist ten other staff athletic trainers with coverage of five coed athletic training rooms, develop and implement standard operating procedures, document injuries, provide oversight of home and away practices and games, and handle various duties as assigned by Director of Sports Medicine.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary coverage of Men's Basketball/Men's Golf

Develop and implement standard operating procedures, document injuries, provide oversight of home and away practices and games, and handle various duties as assigned by Director of Sports Medicine

Clinical instruction and supervision of MSAT athletic training program

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of NCAA and Sun Belt Conference regulations specifically as they apply to institutional policies and procedures.

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Frequent nights, weekends and holidays

Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Master's Degree.
Two (2) years of experience preferred.
