Position Summary:

The Assistant Athletic Trainer position will report to the Head Athletic Trainer.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primary coverage of Men's Basketball/ Men's and Women's
• Clinical instruction and supervision of 10 athletic training students with coverage of five coed training rooms
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures, document injuries, provide oversight of home and away practices and games, and handle various duties as assigned by Director of Sports Medicine.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of NCAA and Sun Belt Conference regulations specifically as they apply to institutional policies and procedures.

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Frequent nights, weekends and holidays

Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Master's Degree.
Two (2) years of experience preferred.
