Digital Copywriter in West Palm Beach, Florida at Republican National Committee

The Republican National Committee is seeking a copywriter to join the Digital team. The ideal candidate has an interest in fundraising, writing, and elections. Previous experience in political copywriting is a plus. Additionally, the candidate is interested in being part of a team, collaborating with others, and working on long-term projects for the online marketing efforts of the RNC. This is an in-person position based in Washington DC.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Creating and writing ground-breaking copy for fundraising and voter outreach SMS, email, landing pages, websites, surveys, and petitions that helps to elect Republicans at every level.
• Managing a dynamic workload of copywriting requests.
• Developing and executing out-of-the-box content ideas in collaboration with the team.
• Working with vendors to craft high performing copy for prospecting efforts.
• Working with the digital team to track metrics and optimize content based on performance.
• Executing various tasks in collaboration with the digital team.

Qualifications:

• Previous copywriting experience is a plus but not required.
• Interest in digital marketing, politics, or fundraising.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• A self-starter, able to begin and see through long-term projects.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with that is deadline driven.

Experience reviewing and optimizing content based on digital metrics is a plus.
