Box Truck Delivery Driver at Intermountain Express Transport, Inc. – Salt Lake City, Utah

As a driver for Intermountain Express our drivers will spend their time driving a route solo to pick up loose freight (median freight is about 20lbs / piece). This is a Monday through Friday Job. The equipment being used is a 24'-26' box truck. Although these trucks do not require a CDL, they do require experience with similar vehicles. Must be 21 years of age for this position.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, shifts vary by route. (most are 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM)

Compensation Range: $19 - $23/Hour

$250 Sign on Bonus!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Driving box trucks to pick up freight
• Scanning, loading and unloading freight
• Sorting and staging freight

Qualifications

• Driving experience required
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
• Dependability
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Good customer service
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
