Senior Medical Biller in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

Responsible for functions to include: oversight of day-to-day billing and data operations for Grant Services. Implements projects and activities to attain goals established in short term and long-term plans as well as process improvement efforts to decrease errors and improve overall billing and data operations. Provides leadership to staff to accomplish department needs. Assists with hiring and retaining high quality staff in the department. Facilitates the mission, purpose, goals, and objectives of University Health.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in a business related field OR equivalent experience and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of experience in business operations and/or healthcare technology administration is required. Two years experience with 1500 and UB-04 claim forms is preferred.
