Job Overview:

Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center, affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center, is a 124-bed skilled nursing facility committed to providing continuous care and support for long-term and sub-acute patients. Our licensed facility offers comprehensive services, including 24-hour nursing care, access to hospital support services, therapies, social services, and recreational activities, aimed at promoting independence and enhancing residents’ quality of life. This is a part-time position (24 Hours Per Week) supporting Evening Shift [3:00 - 11:30PM].

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• AHA BLS prior to start date required
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from NJ Department of Health required
• Valid Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Certificate and registration in good standing with the New Jersey Nurse Aide Registry required
• Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred

Essential Functions:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CNA will provide basic care to patients including assisting with feeding, bathing, transferring, positioning, ambulation, and other duties associated with the patient’s needs. Because of the personal nature of this role, Certified Nursing Assistants should be compassionate and enjoy helping others.
