Job Title: Level 2 IT Specialist

Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Reports To: IT Manager

Job Overview:

The Level 2 IT Specialist at Reciprocity Industries, LLC is a key mid-level technical position responsible for providing advanced technical support to our leadership team, IT department, and other key stakeholders. As a Level 2 IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the technical systems and tools that underpin our operations. This role requires proficiency in IT end user support, tech support team collaboration, system architecture, integrations, migrations, automations, and advanced networking.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced in-house and remote technical support to our workforce and partners, addressing escalated issues from Level 1 IT Specialists.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, including those related to hardware, software, and networking.
• Research, learn, configure, and maintain various software tools used across the organization.
• Maintain and enhance documented processes to ensure they align with current technological standards.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to help guide future IT strategies.
• Assist IT leadership in creating and maintaining robust system architecture, including cloud computing resource deployment, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code development.
• Support organization leadership in setting up workflow automations and advanced configurations in various software systems.
• Contribute to achieving and maintaining high technical security standards, including compliance with HIPAA and SOC-2 requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient in major technology environments including Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe products, Slack, Zoom, etc.
• Expertise in networking and system administration, including both Local Area Network (LAN) configuration and physical network construction.
• Basic knowledge of software coding, scripting, and cloud architecture.
• Strong conceptual understanding of IT principles.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of full-time experience in a related IT field.
