Cinema Manager in San Ramon, California at The Lot

As a Cinema Manager at THE LOT, you will oversee our In-Seat Dining and Film Projection operations. Moving away from the traditional movie-going experience, you will lead and develop our Team Members to design the ultimate guest experience. Cinema Manager reports to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure all guests are greeted and are provided with the highest customer care
• Create and oversee schedules for adequate staffing levels per department-specific position and staffing needs
• Issuing documentation and managing disciplinary process
• Training new employees
• Manages employee rest breaks, unpaid meal breaks and over-time
• Ensures proper standard operating procedures and policies are being adhered to
• Maintain and update checklists
• Ensures Team Members satisfy all guest service standards at THE LOT
• Performs daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties
• Works effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners
• Listens, communicates, and works to resolve guest concerns
• Completes all other functions as designated by the General Manager
• Ensure Service Stations are always prepared and in order- Proper stocking of clean menus, rollups, napkins, thermal paper, trashcans with four bags each, and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure tablets include venue valet and proper setup of equipment such as charged tablets, pens, and check presenters.
• Ensure Service Lights are in place and working- Must always schedule 1-3 Floaters to assist with Service Lights.
• Manage cleaning crew (Turners) and overall cleanliness of all aspects of throughout the theater.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Cinema/theater experience a plus
• Manager or Supervisor experience needed
• VISTA POS a plus but not needed
• TMS understanding a plus but not needed
• Full availability to include weekend and holidays required.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability with respect to timeliness, attendance, follow-through, and ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Willingness to learn preferred skills as needed.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Ability to work a variable schedule, including shifts from morning through late night.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and infrequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and coordination are required to perform the work.
