We are seeking motivated men and women to join the largest sheriff’s office in northern Minnesota with a staff of 300 including 118 licensed Deputies serving the largest county in Minnesota—over 7,500 square miles, home to 202,000 residents, and a destination for thousands more each season. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $31.34 - $44.33 per hour.

An employee in this class is responsible to perform routine criminal investigation, law enforcement and process serving tasks. Duties include responding to calls for service within a patrol area and enforcing laws by proactive patrolling and investigating crimes. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.
