FINANCIAL COUNSELOR PAR at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, Florida

Position Highlights:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and various analysis techniques.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Answer calls from a phone queue regarding patient account inquiries, payments, financial assistance, estimates, settlements, payment plans for both the hospital and physician billing.
• Attend peer review meetings and educational training to refine customer service skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Credentials and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting with an emphasis in physician/hospital collections, insurance verification, and/or financial counseling.
• **Two (2) years Moffitt Revenue Cycle experience can be considered in lieu of three (3) years' experience.**
