Sterile Processing Technician, Somerset, Temporary Full Time in Glen Rock, New Jersey at Sovereign Health systems

University Center for Ambulatory Surgery, LLC, located in Somerset, NJ, is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, for a temporary full-time opportunity.

The length of time for this temporary position is approximately 12 weeks.

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination of instruments and equipment, general and specialty tray assembly, wrapping and sterilization, quality assurance of sterilizers, and inventory management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited CRCST or CSPDT program.
• Current and sustained certification as either a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT).
• One-year prior Sterile Processing experience preferred.
