About the job:

CPH is seeking to hire a Medical Laboratory Scientist II that represents our organization with professionalism and enthusiasm. The Medical Technologist III is a supervisory position responsible for the oversight of a department within the clinical lab. In addition to performing and evaluating various laboratory tests on patient specimens, this position requires technical expertise and staff oversight of a designated department. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and evaluating quality control.
• Working closely with the Laboratory Director and Medical Director to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Evaluating and implementing new protocols and equipment.
• Training and continued competency assessment of all laboratory employees.
• Maintaining all equipment and inventory within the department.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in science or medical technology and a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory, plus the completion of a clinical internship. Current registry as a Medical Laboratory Technician MLT (ASCP), or Medical Laboratory Technologist MLS (ASCP) or equivalent is required.
