Job Description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Reports To:
      • Director of Environmental Services
    • Summary:
      • Perform all laundry duties to maintain hospital, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include washing, sorting, folding, and replenishing linens, along with logging amount of linen used on each unit, also responsible for cleaning laundry area, break area, locker room and restroom daily.
    • Work Schedule:
      • Must be able to work non-standard hours, sometimes in excess of 40 hours per week.

    • Education
      • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
    • Experience
      • None
    • Computer Skills
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.

      • N/A
    • Other Requirements
      • Knowledge of how to operate washers and dryers. This position requires frequent standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying 0-100+ lbs and pushing and pulling 0-100+ lbs.
