Dietetic Assistant in Crown Point, Indiana at Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana

• Process diet orders and make appropriate menu changes and tray line orders.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure quality food service.
• Perform food preparation duties, such as cutting fruits and making salads.
• Set up Tray line by completing a tally of food and drink items needed for the patient.
• Work on Tray line to complete the patient’s tray with accuracy and place tray into the cart.
• Daily and weekly cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, monitoring dish machine temperatures.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Experience: High School graduate or equivalent. Prior experience in food service/dierary preferable.
