Medical Assistant / Scribe in White Plains, New York at White Plains Hospital

Performs all clinical and office duties of a Medical Assistant as well as performs clerical and information
technology functions for a physician in a clinic setting when acting in the capacity of a Medical Scribe. The
Medical Scribe duties include primary responsibility of the operation of the electronic health records and
electronic dictation system. Anticipates the physician needs to facilitate patient flow. Medical Scribes must be
discreet, tactful, and modest in performance of duties so as not to distract medical staff from patient care. The
Medical Assistant / Scribe must adhere to the NYS Medical Assistant scope of practice, and functions under
the physician/provider/nurse's direct supervision.
