FANS Training & Development Coordinator in Rutland, Vermont at Rutland Regional Medical Center

Under the direction of the department leadership, supports the department by designing, presenting and coordinating the training and orientation programs for all staff and is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the department. This position will provide expertise in creating training materials and documenting departmental policies and procedures with the ultimate goal of providing a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Minimum Education

• Associates Degree in Business or related field, or combination of education and experience.

Minimum Work Experience

• 3 years of related experience in healthcare preferred.
• Previous experience training or coaching employees.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Current ServSafe certification*
• ServSafe Instructor certification*

*Or obtained within 6 months.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Excellent people/communication skills.
• Evidence of strong presentation skills in a large group setting.
• Demonstrated ability to train entry level service employees.
• Willingness and ability to participate in weekend on-call coverage.
• Scheduling flexibility to allow for training on all shifts within the department.
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge of food service principles, supplies, and equipment.

Pay Range: $18.35 - $27.23
