The stationary engineer assists the Lead Plant Engineer in coordinating the activities and general daily operational needs of the Power Plant and associated equipment. Assists the Plant Engineer in administering and implementing new programs and ideals involving energy savings. Maintains daily operational log sheets and records as well as preforms preventive maintenance operations and daily chemical testing of both chillers and boilers. A high school degree or its equivalent is required, as is three years of experience in power plant operations and general maintenance and mechanics.
