Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year as a Paramedic. Must hold/maintain current MA Paramedic Certificate, BCLS, ACLS. Must maintain valid MA driver’s license and driving record that meets the requirements set forth by the hospital driving policy. Must be aware and follow current federal and MA laws with regard to emergency medical services. Must meet contract requirements for criminal background check.

Job Summary: Performs emergency medical treatment pre-hospital to citizens of our coverage area. Employees are trained in pre-hospital emergency medicine and ACLS. The EMS department provides both 911 and non-emergency services to the citizens of three central MA counties. The EMS department is licensed by the State of MA as an ambulance and neonatal service that operates a fleet of 6 EMS units and 2 Critical Care units.
